The National Engineering Laboratory for Volatile Organic Compounds Pollution Control Technology and Equipment was led by South China University of Technology and jointly built by the industry's superior scientific research institutes and enterprises. The total investment of the project is 112.83 million yuan. Professor Ye Daiqi, Dean of the School of Environment and Energy of South China University of Technology, is the head of the laboratory, and Hao Jiming, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is the director of the laboratory technical committee.

The establishment of the National Engineering Laboratory of Volatile Organic Compounds Pollution Treatment Technology and Equipment is aimed at solving the problems of my country’s VOCs treatment technology and low reliability of key materials and equipment, promoting the development of pollution treatment companies, and improving the level of my country’s VOCs pollution treatment. The overall technical level and key performance indicators have reached the international advanced or leading level to promote the rapid development of the environmental protection industry. The engineering laboratory established a council to jointly participate in the construction of the engineering laboratory and share the development results of the engineering laboratory.
